Spring Cleaning
It's time for Spring Cleaning. I've been having trouble parting with some clothes from ten years ago, even though I know I'll never wear them again... What gives? While I try to unattach from my Joie tops and Yumi Kim rompers, I'm focusing on the girls' artwork.
Liv and Mia's beautiful artwork accumulates. I have a growing pile of pictures in our kitchen. I throw out some scribbles, but some more detailed renderings deserve to be preserved. We've framed a couple of pieces, but what to do with the rest?
Enter: Artkive. Artkive is a company that photographs your kid's drawings and makes them into a book. You can choose to keep the original artwork or have Artkive toss it. You get a new, original coffee table book and you get to hold onto your little one's artistic feats, without the growing piles of papers.
We recently received our first Artkive book of Liv's work and I'm a big fan, both of the pictures of course, and of the company that did the compilation.
