One True Loves

I recently read another one of Taylor Jenkins Reid's novels, One True Loves. The book was another page turner by Reid, but it wasn't my favorite. I didn't quite buy the storyline of a couple separated as newlyweds and reunited a few years later, after the husband went missing over the Pacific. It was hard for me to get lost in the book because I kept thinking, "c'mon." But Reid is an excellent storyteller. So while the plot was pretty unbelievable and had some holes, I read the novel quite quickly. Fortunately there were some pearls of wisdom at the end. Still, when I finished the book, I was more relieved vs. sad; not exactly devastated to be done reading like I was with Daisy Jones & The Six.
