Gift Guide 2020

It feels like a weird time to do a gift guide, but 'tis the season, even in 2020. Your winter vacation may be cancelled, but your gift exchange likely isn't. I was pondering what to put on my Elfster wishlist for my work Secret Santa and I was stumped. Great problem to have. So I started brainstorming what I'd like to receive, and what I'll be gifting this year. Some ideas below. (Nothing too fancy. Keeping it practical for pandemic times.)

Athleisure
Lots of people, myself included, are living in workout clothes. Maybe even working out. My favorite exercise clothes are from Beyond Yoga and Outdoor Voices. And I swear by Target sports bras.

Carafe
For beside or office. Hubs kept filling up glasses with our precious Poland Spring delivery water and leaving them on his nightstand, untouched. They multiplied. They got fuzzies in them. I was peeved. Enter: the carafe. Iโ€™ve had one for me for a long time. I like the hotel guest vibe. I've since ordered one for Hubs.

Coffee Table Book
They do double duty as home decor and reading material. I also use a stack to elevate my laptop. My current favorites are Made for Living, Pacific Natural and The Complete Annotated Grateful Dead Lyrics. I'll always cherish South Africa, a gift from a best friend upon learning Hubs and I were planning a safari honeymoon.

Glassware
For all that wine we're drinking every night. I'm really into Spanish wine glasses right now.

Ground coffee beans
Everyone's making coffee at home. Send the fixins for his or her fix. My coffee snob brother likes this brand.

Scrunchies
They're overpriced but they're just so comfy and they don't tear your hair. I wear mine to bed and to work out. No hair damage done.

Socks
I know it's like a joke to get someone socks. But it's seriously practical and appreciated. I just ordered Bombas for me and Hubs. We always get socks for my dad because he likes really wacky ones. Last year we gave him socks with my brothers' and my baby faces on them :)

Tea Kettle
I'm on a peppermint tea kick and I keep meaning to gift myself a pretty kettle. I have my eye on something simple like this.
