Tangled Up in Pink

I love Walgreens, always have. I could spend a lot of time and money there. Recently on a rainy day I broke out a couple of craft kits I'd bought at the drugstore. Liv was delighted and asked where I'd gotten the art supplies. Upon hearing Walgreens, she asked if I'd take her to this land of wonders for her birthday :)

In addition to arts and crafts, of course Walgreens carries toiletries. The one I want to highlight today is a magical item. A cheap, brightly colored, smooth to the touch, fun and effective tool for both children and adults alike. Without further ado I present to you... the Tangle Teezer.

I was first introduced to this most special hairbrush at a high-end salon in the city. I was shocked when my stylist produced this oddly shaped, bright pink plastic brush instead of a fancy comb or some other really expensive detangler. But it quickly smoothed my unruly hair. Nowadays the Tangle Teezer works wonders on my girls' knotted curls. And the brush is total eye candy and fun for the kids to hold. Sometimes Mia will scream, "NOO I want the Tangle Teezer" when I try to get a Wet Brush through her mane. (But FYI the Wet Brush is my second favorite hair tool from Walgreens.)

So there you have it. The cheapest, most effective brush out there. Toss it in your Walgreens basket the next time you're out doing errands at everyone's favorite store.
