Sunglasses at Night
If you want to look super sexy before bedtime, sport some blue light blocking glasses! JK, they're not exactly cute; Justin thinks they look ridiculous. But - they help! I heard from my teacher Martha Beck that wearing blue light blocking glasses a couple of hours before bedtime--along with other sleep hacks I have yet to explore--has helped with her long-standing sleep issues. I decided to give it a whirl and order a pair for myself. I often wear the glasses before bedtime, especially when watching TV. Lately my favorite thing in the whole wide world is to get in my bed with my girls and watch Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls deserves its own separate blog post, so stay tuned. But the glasses help me to get into sleep mode and actually doze off, even after viewing TV (or - even worse for the sleepytime vibe - scrolling on my phone). My kids love the glasses too; we all take turns wearing them whilst watching our beloved Loralei and Rory on the telly. I think I'll order some pairs for the girls for Hanukkah. Fun to wear and helpful for shuteye? Sounds like a win-win gift...

P.S. Ironically I forgot to wear the glasses while penning this blog at 12am, and I am wired!
