Sponge Worthy

Do you ever catch yourself being super into something and think, "Wow, if you had told me ten years ago that I'd care at all about [INSERT THE THING], I'd call you crazy?"

I cannot believe I am writing this, but I have to blog about my new favorite thing, my... sponge holder. I am slowly making our house into a home. Hubs and I have very different processes. He likes to get everything hung and done. I like to take my time, only hang up prints that bring me joy, only use furniture that fits with my aesthetic. It's a slow, you might say (especially if you're my husband), painstaking process.

Anyway I see things here and there, and I get inspired. I happened to see a super random person on Instagram (during a Revenge Bedtime Procrastination sesh) post about her ceramic sponge holder. I was intrigued. This was the thing I never knew I needed. Why had I been putting my dirty sponge on my counter, I pondered, when I could have been using a gorgeous ceramic sponge holder? I did a little digging and purchased one on Etsy that fits my vibe. It was a relatively inexpensive way to bring joy to my kitchen and elevate my cleanup style. (See Hubs, here I am, making tons of home decor progress, one utensil holder at a time.)
