Positive Review for Negative Underwear
The last time I bought a new bra (not including my fave sports bras), I was on a pre-pandemic lunch break jaunt to Intimissimi. Intimissimi is OK, serviceable. It happens to be close to my midtown office, so it did the trick.
After breastfeeding little Mia for a year I needed a lingerie upgrade. My bosom had... changed. I wouldn't change a thing about my nursing journey, but after years of feeding my babies au natural, I was surprised to find that my boobs had gotten smaller. Also, since having kids I've had no tolerance for uncomfortable lingerie, like underwire. At least not for everyday. (And certainly not for WFH days.) So in recent years I've had the very specific bra criteria in mind of "comfy but not hideous."
This was my go to brassiere for a while. It's not the most supportive or even flattering under clothing, though. Throughout Covid times I've worn sports bras often, but they've started to feel too tight and corset-like by midday. So recently I embarked on a search for The Perfect Everyday Bra. And... I found it! Here it is. It checks my boxes: comfy but not hideous. And It's supportive, simple and sexy. Recommended by a friend with impeccable taste and all the best recommendations. She didn't steer me wrong, once again. I'm glad to give a glowing, positive review for Negative Underwear.
