Out, damned spot!

This is the most "mommy blogger" post ever, but I have a hot tip and I want to share it. Hand soap for stain removal. You're welcome.

Just like the cheesy laundry detergent commercials claim, kids stain their clothes all the time and it's a huge pain to keep their duds clean. I have spent many a precious moment spot treating my girls' garments and I'm over it. I used to use Shout exclusively and I recently switched to Seventh Generation stain remover. Shout works better but the smell is offensive to me and lingers on my fingers for hours. No thanks.

A babysitter recently recommended hand soap for stain remover. I was skeptical. But I tried some Mrs. Meyer's hand soap on my kid's chocolate ice cream smeared dress and it worked like magic.

Happy laundering,
Mommy Blogger AES
