First Lie Wins
I started First Lie Wins in the Bahamas and it kept me engrossed on the beach, in bed at night and on the return trip. Thankfully it occupied me while waiting at the tiny Eleuthera airport for hours, and while traveling back to the States on two flights.
A psychological thriller, First Lie Wins has many clever twists. While the storyline seems fake enough that I wasn't too freaked out while reading, the characters seem real enough that I felt deeply invested in the bookβs outcome.
I can't say too much about the plot without revealing spoilers, but the novel involves a woman who is not who she says she is, a new relationship, and some shady business dealings. First Lie Wins is a total page-turner and has stayed with me since I finished reading.
I dare you to pick up First Lie Wins and not get hooked.
