The B*tch is Back
I recently read Carrie Soto Is Back, a newish novel by bestselling author Taylor Jenkins Reid. I had previously read a couple of her books: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Malibu Rising. All three are good reads. I'm not as obsessed as I am, say, with Nora Goes Off Script , but they're enjoyable and I get the hype.
Carrie Soto Is Back centers on retired tennis star Carrie and her return to the sport to reclaim her record-setting title. She's coached by her dad, the two having reunited after having had some drama. Carrie is resolute in her goal to be #1 and she's laser focused. She doesn't care that she's infamous for being unfriendly and even called Battle Axe and Bitch. Does she soften, maybe open up to being vulnerable, maybe even dabble in some romance? Read to find out...
